What's up, y'all? I'm Cle the Visionary, and this is the Build Your Vision show, In today's episode, I'm going to share with you four ways that you can cut through the market. Now, this isn't business, this is relationships, ministry, whatever you are trying to stand out in these four tips when applied. We'll make it happen. Now. This is a teaching that I did live on YouTube and Facebook So if you hear me making some references about things you could see or I'm talking to people that are coming in the chat live That's why I'm still playing with this format of how I want to incorporate video into the show But if you hear any of that, that's the reason why all right, let's get into it. You're listening to the build your vision podcast A podcast series about maneuvering the ups and downs of building a life that you're proud of. Captured in real time. A community where dreamers become doers. And doers become world changers. Let's go. What is up? Y'all, this is the build your vision show. I am cleave the visionary glad you're here with me this evening or afternoon depending on where you're looking from or you could be around the world. So I don't know what time it is where you are. But I'm glad you are here. In this episode today, we are going to be talking about stop Trying to be original. Have you ever felt like you're trying to cut through the minutia? Your industry is really saturated with all types of people doing the same thing that you want to do. You have an idea, you have a vision that you want to build out, but you think it's too crowded. Hey, this is the right episode for you to tune into today. This, uh, platform is built for visionaries and, uh, people, we always believe that, you know, people, the clearer they can see. The more effective they will be, um, and, and build your vision. You have to make the decision to see God clearer. To see yourself clearer and to see the world clearer with more precision. So that's what we're going to expound upon today. We're going to get right into it. This is why I say you don't have to be original or actually stop trying to be original. You have an idea. You have a dream. You have a vision that you want to build, but you feel like it's too crowded. It's too saturated. Everyone is already taking up all the space. How in the world am I supposed to cut through? Right? Have you ever said this to yourself? You know, I should have started the YouTube channel a little while ago. I should The podcast, uh, the music uh, that you want to start, this the written, uh, writing this self help book, uh, starting a TikTok account now you feel like it's too late, too many people are on there engagement's not what it used to be, right? You feel like you missed the boat. It's not too late. So the thing is that most people try to say, okay, well, since it's already saturated, that means I gotta change the game. I gotta be original. I gotta do what has never been done before. Or else how am I going to get recognized? How is anybody going to see what I have to offer? Right, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. And I'm going to show you why that is wrong. Uh, so if you could go in your Bibles, if you have one on you digitally or physically, I don't know if you came prepared, but we're going to be diving into the word that's right. I'm going to be using the Bible. To back up this, we're going to go to, uh, to Matthew, the first verse we're going to go to is Matthew chapter three, starting with the first verse. Oh, let me take that background down. Starting with the first verse, it says, in those days, John the Baptist came to the Judean wilderness and began preaching. His message was repent of your sins and turn to God for the kingdom of heaven is near. All right, we're going to skip right on over. We're going to go to chapter four, the very next chapter. And we're going to go down to verse 17 from then on, Jesus began to preach, repent of your sins and turn to God for the kingdom of heaven is near. Then we just hear that somewhere else. We just heard John say the exact same thing, literally like word for word, the exact same thing. So that tells me. That Jesus and John had the same message. They were talking about the same exact thing. In those days, John the Baptist was in the Judean wilderness, began preaching his message, Repent of your sins and turn to God for the kingdom of heaven is near. Jesus, in the very next chapter, says the same exact thing. From then on, Jesus began to preach, Repent of your sins and turn to God for the kingdom of heaven is near. So, if Jesus... Literally, the most influential figure in Earth's history was not worried about having the same message or being in a crowded market saying literally you're probably not even saying the exact same thing. Jesus was saying the exact same thing that John was saying. He wasn't worried about basically copying or doing what John had already done. So, both Jesus and John were called by God to do what they were doing, but Jesus and John both had the same message. They were called by God uniquely, though, to have different assignments. I'm going to go back to, uh, the scripture. And I'm going to go down to verse three this time in chapter three, the prophet Isaiah was speaking about john when he said his voice is shout is a shouting. He is a voice shouting in the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord's coming clear the road for him. So this is actually a verse from Isaiah that Matthew is. here. So we know that John was specifically called to do this. It is even in prophecy that this would be happening. Let's see what happens in the next chapter in chapter four, just like we did the last time I'm going to go down to chapter 12. When Jesus heard that John had been arrested. He left Judea and returned to Galilee. He went first to Nazareth, then left there and moved to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. This fulfilled what God has said through the prophet Isaiah, In the land of Zebulun and Naphtali, Beside the sea beyond the Jordan River in the, in Galilee, where so many Gentiles live, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. So you, we both see that they were both uniquely called by God and even prophesied, uh, by God to the specific assignments that they have. So they both are, had the same message. Let me pull that back up. They both had the same message. And they both have unique assignments. I'm going somewhere with this. Pay attention guys, this is gonna, this is like a object lesson. It's gonna apply straight to you. Jesus and John were also two completely different people. John was born to older parents. Jesus was born to younger parents. Uh, John lived in the country. Jesus lived in the city. John was, uh, more direct and brash in his delivery of his message. Uh, think of like, um, a Gary V style. He's not, you know, cussing you out, but you know, very harsh, very direct, very, you know, Uh, as Gary Vee would say, very Jersey, uh, Jesus, he didn't really preach like that. He was more creative. He was telling stories. He was laid back in his delivery, uh, very poetic in his speech. Think of like, um, uh, a Maya Angelou or something like that, two completely different styles, right? But remember Jesus and John both have the same message. So if you want to stand out in the market based on these texts. You just need to know four, maybe five things. Four, maybe five things, putting the caveat in there. So the first thing you need to know is God. You have to know God. Matthew 6, 33, you know, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. All these things will be added unto you. You gotta seek the kingdom first. What's up, Matt? What's going on, brother? Thanks for tuning in, man. Uh, you gotta seek first the kingdom of God. So, do you know what seeking the kingdom means? First of all, that means that you have to seek. Submit the king's dominion, right? So who's the king? The king is the Lord. The king is God. You have to submit to his dominion. You have to yield everything that you have to him. Because it's hard for us to understand what that's like because we live in a democratic society. Other societies that have a monarchy are very familiar with this. When you have a king, Essentially, nothing is actually yours. If the King asks for your plot of land, you have no choice. The plot of land is going to the King because the King already owns. Everything you are just, you know, renting it, not even renting it. You are like You're just, you know, he's doing you a favor basically. Uh, so when everything, everything belongs to the king, and if you talk to anybody that lives in a mon monarchy, they're not gonna argue Somebody that lives in, in England and someone requests the queen requests something of them, they're not gonna be like, oh no, that's, that's against my rights. They don't have that accent, by the way, but, uh, they just going to give it because it's the queen and she is royalty and everything already belongs to her. So if you are submitting, if you are seeking the kingdom first, that means you are submitting to the king's dominion. That means you realize that everything that you have and everything that there is to have already belongs to him, right? So when you see this, that means you start to see yourself differently. Because you realize you belong to him you start to see the world around you differently because you realize that belongs to him And then you start to behave Accordingly because you realize that everything belongs to God and you are seeking the kingdom first so in Genesis 1 verse 27, I love this verse actually Because when you know God, it helps you know yourself better. It helps you know yourself so much better. So I'm going to go over to Genesis chapter 1, the very first book of the Bible. And I'm going to go to verse 27. It says, So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God, he created the male and female. He created them, then God said, then God blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and govern it, rain over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky and all the animals that scurry along the ground. Then God said, look, I've given you every seed bearing plant throughout the earth and all the trees for your food. All right. So what does this mean? This means since we know who God is and we know that he is our creator and the creator of all things, and we have submitted ourselves to his dominion, we know that he has said these things about us. It's right here in the word. Genesis chapter one. We haven't gotten that far into earth's history yet. And we already know God created you. To be a creator, because it says God created human beings in his own image, in the image of God, he created them. The first thing that we know about God is that he is creative. It's the very first thing we know. In the beginning, God created the very first book of the Bible. The first thing we know about God is that he's a creator. That's why I believe every single person needs to be a creator, but that's a whole nother, a whole nother story. So, since we're made in the image of God, that means that we are also creators. So, we know God created us to be creative, or to be a creator. We know that God created us to be producers. It says, be fruitful and multiply. That's production. That doesn't just mean being fruitful as far as generations or, or, or, or, or reproduction. That means be productive in all things. Fruitful in the Bible is often referred to as, or, or, or the word is used to mean a harvest, to mean to produce something of value, and to multiply it. So we're supposed to be creators, we're supposed to be producers, we're supposed to be governors, fill the earth and govern it, reign. Over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground. So, we're supposed to be creators, we're supposed to be producers, we're supposed to be governors. And last thing, God created us to be consumers. Now, this is not going to sit right maybe with some, some people that are steeped in Christendom. Because we, consumerism is something that is, you know, I guess perceived as more worldly. But, right here, in the verse, it says, Look, I have given you every seed bearing plant throughout the earth and all fruit trees for your food. God created us to consume. He created us to create. We're gonna produce. We're gonna govern the dominion that he's given us within our realm. We'll get to that later. And he's created us to consume, to have stuff, to use stuff. That's not going to sit right with some Christians, but it's true. It's right here in the word. So good. You have, you have to know God. So we got through that. So Matt says, um, so does that make everyone a creator? Yes. Yes, it does. Everyone is a creator. The thing is, though, does everyone create? That is the question. A lot of us have bought into the ideology of we are strictly supposed to be consumers without being creators. God created us to create though, we are all creators. The problem, the, the question is, are you doing your job in creating, be productive in all things? Exactly, exactly, man. That's exactly what God called us to do. So when we know God, we get a clearer version, a clear interpretation of who we're exactly supposed to be. And that leads exactly into what point two is know yourself. If you want to cut through the minutia, if you want to be able to stand out in the market. You have to know yourself, self awareness. Each individual is made with unique callings and giftings. John had the gift, and I'm talking about John the Baptist, John the Baptist had the gift of exhortation, of preaching. Jesus had the gift of teaching and the gift of healing, working miracles. And the crazy thing is, you never see Jesus Walking around leading out praise and worship, even though I'm sure he could, I'm pretty sure he could sing. You never see Jesus, uh, walking around, uh, you know, doing the gift of, of You know, helps or, or something like that. Like that, that was not what he was called to do. He had a unique gifting. Even Jesus stayed in his lane. Oh, wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. Actually, that's on the, I'm getting ahead of myself. Even Jesus staying in his lane though. We are all individually made and have unique. that we should be leaning into. The thing is, you have to be aware of what those things are. I will put in the description of this episode, uh, two tests or assessments that helped me so much in me, understanding what my giftings were and what my ministry abilities were. Um, and that helped me so much when it came to figuring out exactly who God uniquely created to meet me to be and me not being. ashamed, or, or bashful, or You know, tentative in exactly how he created me because he created me for a certain purpose and he gave me these specific gifts to accomplish that assignment. I'm not going to get into the lane thing, though. I'm going to get into that later. The second part of knowing yourself that I feel like a lot of people struggle with, especially seems like, well, actually, I don't know if it applies to age, but I see a lot of young people deal with this when they're making made like a lot of major decisions at the beginning of their adulthood. is denying your own desires. Stop denying your own desires. That might sound kind of weird, but it's very true. Now, many visionaries are literally paralyzed by the decision of discerning their wants from God's will. But, may I suggest to you, Oops. May I suggest to you, you cannot know God's will until you know your wants. You cannot submit to God's will until you know what you want, or else what are you submitting to him? There's nothing to submit. If you don't know what you want, stop suppressing what you want and be honest with God, don't deny your desires. And the reason why it's so important to not deny your desires is because not every desire you have is from God, but some are. And when you dismiss your wants. You could be dismissing God's will in your life. Y'all, when I, when I, when this, when I learned this, this hit me like a ton of bricks, bruh. A ton of bricks. When you dismiss your wants, you could be dismissing God's will. He puts desires in your heart on purpose. This is why, you know, in Philippians 2. 13 where it says, um, you know, Uh, God will give you the will to do, uh, what pleases Him. The will and the way to do what pleases Him. Because if you have the want, He'll give you the will and the way, but you have to lean into the one first because he put it inside of you. Now, like I said, not every single desire is from God, but some of them are. And when you dismiss all your wants and not are authentic and honest with God about what you actually want. You could be dismissing his will in your life. This is all a part of knowing yourself and being okay with it. So if you want to make a lot of money, stop acting like you don't want to make a lot of money. Like, just be honest with God. Just be like, God, God, you know what? I'm trying to secure that bag, you know what I'm saying, God? Oh, no, you know, it's, it's all for the, it's all for the glory. Boy, God, I'm not that concerned about, about the monetary value. Why do you go to work every day then? Why do you work more than you do anything else if you don't care about money? Why do you want a promotion? Be honest, state your desires. If you want to get married, you want a husband? If you want the benefits of being married and having a husband or wife, be honest with God, don't desire, don't deny your desires because last time we deny our desires, we don't even bring them to God in order for them to be blessed in the first place. Ask, and the door shall be opened. Lots of us never even ask. Stop denying your desires. Know yourself. So we, we have to know God. I thought I put the number one on there, come on. What happened? Have to know God, have to know yourself. Three, you have to know your lane. Know your lane. I started talking about this earlier. Once you know who you are, your assignment will become more evident. Your assignment usually stems from your why. Your why is the reason you do everything that you do. You don't realize it because it's on the subconscious level, but literally every single thing that you do stems from your why. And the thing is, you don't create a why. You just discover it. Because you've already been doing all the things. You just have to discover the motive behind why you do what you do. And a lot of times your lane stems from that why. Your lane... Is, um, usually where your, and I'll put this on the screen, your calling, your spiritual gifts, your passion, and your expertise expertise all come together. That's your lane. So I was saying like, Jesus, and he's, and Jesus is human, human divinity, like, I'm pretty sure he could have done all that stuff if he wanted to. He could have been gifted in everything. He could have been speaking in tongues. He could have been singing. He could have been, he could have been doing it all. Could have been writing, but he didn't remember he and John had the same exact, exact message. Repent of your sins for the kingdom of heaven is near, but they both stayed in their lane. This is, I'm telling you, this is how you, this is how you cut through the noise. This is how you differentiate yourself. You have to know God because He tells you who you are. And when you know who He is and you can submit to His kingdom, stuff just becomes clearer, man. When you know yourself, you're able to know your unique giftings. God created you a certain way on purpose. And when you acknowledge those desires that He's put in your heart, You'll be able to get where he needs you to go on your assignment faster. And when you know your lane, your calling, your spiritual gifts, your passions, your expertise, all come together. You, you create this path that literally no one, it's like a fingerprint. No one else can do it except for you, but you have to lean into who you authentically are. You have to know your lane. Jesus had the gift of teaching and healing. Even Jesus stayed in his lane. That's so crazy. Every time I say that baptizing was John's lane. Poetry and music was David's lane. Writing a church building was Paul's lane. All these people literally impacted the world forever and never stepped in each other's lane. Same message repent for the kingdom of heaven is near. Turn away from your sin, but there was room for everybody because everyone stayed in their lane because they knew who God was. They knew who they were. And they knew how to combine their calling, their spiritual gifts, their passion, and their expertise. Now that takes a little bit of time to figure out what that groove is for you. That doesn't just happen overnight. It's not like, Oh, yeah, that's, that's, that's the formula. All right. I know exactly what I'm supposed to do now. It doesn't work like that. Takes a little bit of time. You see, he said, well, could then. Exactly. Oh, no, I don't care about money. I don't care. Oh, you don't care about money. Then why do you spend, uh, 50 hours at work every week? You don't have to do that if you don't care about money. Why you go to work? Cause it's so much fun. Ah, okay. All right. I'm about to wrap up guys. It's almost eight o'clock. Last thing is the last thing y'all, if you, if you want to cut through the noise, uh, and what you believe is a saturated market, the last thing is create, you can't be original in the market. If you're not in the market. Now, this sounds like basic knowledge. You will be surprised how many times I have. Conversations with people all the time that are trying to figure out, man, you know, I just, I don't know how to, how to cut through, you know, because a lot of people already doing it. So I'm trying to figure out, you know, like my angle, you know, well, what have you made? Well, I haven't started yet because I'm still trying to plan out. You can't. You cannot be original in the market. If you're not in it, you have to create. And when you create, you'll begin to refine. It's not going to be perfect. This live is nowhere close to where it's going to be one month from now. I guarantee you. It's going to be light years ahead of this, but I'm refining as I go along, as you create, you will refine as you refine, you will become one of a kind. I'm going to continue finding my voice. When I first started working in radio compared to what I sound like now, two different voices. I continue to refine, get better, build my confidence, find my unique voice because I can't be like anybody else. But even when I try to be like someone else, I can't be like them. This is why you just need to be yourself. Don't try to be original. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. Do what has been working and do it authentically and you will stand out in the market. And as you continually create, you will continually refine. As you continually refine, you will become one of a kind. No one's going to be able to do what you do because God has created you in a way to do that exact assignment. We see it right here in scripture in Matthew. It was prophetically designed for Matt for John and Jesus to do what they did and they had the same exact message. So that's it guys. I hope that was valuable for you. I'm going to go back over first thing you got to do, cut through the market, know God, because God is the creator. You can't create properly. If you don't know the creator, you can't be who you got, because called you to be, if you don't know who created you, um, and designed you to be that thing. When you know God better, you begin to know yourself better because he tells you a lot about who you are, know who you are and why you're figuring out and knowing who you are, stop denying your desires, because when you deny your desires, you could be denying God's will. Know your lane. Even Jesus knew his lane. Even Jesus knew his lane. And, and, and they all had the same message. John had the same message. John, uh, Jesus had the same message. David had the same message. Paul had the same message. Repent, turn away from your sins, for the kingdom of heaven is near. No one stepped on each other's toes. And they all impacted the world in unique and, and heavily influential ways. Know your lane. What's your lane? Calling, spiritual gifts, passions, expertise. Might take a little while to figure out how you can combine all those things, but you know how you figure it out. You create, you keep creating, you keep. Exercising the gifts God has given you, and as you continue to create, you will refine, and as you refine, you will become one of a kind. Hey guys, hope you enjoyed that episode, and that you remember those four tips as you go throughout the rest of your week. Alright, I'll talk to you next week, and as always, until then, keep building your vision every single day. Alright, peace y'all. Executive production.
